This vintage 1981 Yamaha electric guitar features a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and an alder body. It is equipped with three C-II single-coil pickups and a simple control layout of one volume, one tone, and a 5-position selector switch. The unique Yamaha Bi-Sound system enhances output by increasing the coil turns on the front and rear pickups, offering a wide range of tonal options. The tone switch pot has been modified from push/push to push/pull to activate this system. Despite some scratches, dents, and metal part tarnishing consistent with its age, the guitar remains in good condition with minimal fret wear and a well-maintained neck. The truss rod has ample adjustment, and the electronics function perfectly.
