The Painting measures 20" x 16".  It is framed with an overall dimension of 23.5 " x 20".  The Painting is in Oil on canvas signed at the BOTTOM RIGHT.


There is a .5" repair done below the 2 ladies sitting by the river ( see last picture) the repair only visible when you enlarge the area.  It does not deter from the beauty of the artwork.

 

About the Artist:


DUPUY, GEORGES was born on March 24, 1929 in Gonaives.  He attended grade school and Geffrard High school.  He began to paint in 1964.  Although his first teacher was Richard Laport, his favorite artist is Raoul Viard.  


His style is impressionistic and usually depicts everyday life, seascapes, and cultural scenes.


His style is impressionistic and he usually paints seaside, countryside and natural motifs.
