By request I have updated the design of this rack to look a
bit less utilitarian by shortening the rack's platform by 4 inches, removing
the rail trim pieces and powder coating the mounting rails satin black. The design of this rack and mounting system does not
require removing as many parts to install as the original Hondaline rack for
this model. It is constructed of steel with a gloss black powdercoat
finish on the frame and rack and satin black powdercoated mounting rails.
All mounting hardware is included. The weight limit is 8 pounds (the
Hondaline limit was 10). The rail mounting system can also be modified
and used for mounting other aftermarket accessories.
