Vintage bakelite (catalin) bead necklace, Art Deco period.

Necklace is composed of graduated oval beads in warm amber / butterscotch tones with natural color variation. Beads show typical internal flow lines consistent with early catalin production. Strung on original-style knotted cord.

Material has been tested and identified as bakelite (phenolic resin). Not amber.
