This is a beautiful and collectible vintage silver-plated coin bank manufactured by Wallace Bros. Silver Co. The bank is shaped like a spherical football/sports ball on a decorative pedestal base.

Manufacturer: Wallace Bros. Silver Co. (a division of R. Wallace & Sons Manufacturing Co.)

Markings: The bottom is clearly stamped with the manufacturer's name and the pattern/design number V9353.

Design: The top half features a coin slot, and the sides have a relief pattern resembling the laces of a football/rugby ball (see photos). The base features an etched or molded laurel wreath design.

Material: Silver Plate.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, rich patina (tarnish) consistent with its age. We have left the patina as is, but it can be polished if the buyer prefers a shinier finish. Please examine all photos closely as they are part of the description. There are no apparent cracks or major dents.
