This is a whetstone flattening plate “Naoru” designed for ceramic sharpening stones such as Shapton “Ha no Kuromaku”, M15, and M24 series.

The specially designed geometric groove pattern, developed using physical principles, works together with the included correction powders to quickly and accurately restore a flat sharpening surface.

It effectively corrects unevenness and dishing on the whetstone, improving sharpening precision and performance.
