This week, at the request of Jim Brandenburg’s family, we offer some Nikon F mount equipment owned and used by the celebrated nature and wildlife photographer, who passed away last year. 

You are bidding on a lightly used ZEISS Milvus 85mm f/1.4 Planar ZF.2-mount T* lens for Nikon F in excellent condition. Cosmetically, I would rate this about 9.25 out of 10 for a few barely noticeable rub marks that indicate use. Optically and mechanically it is in perfect working order. 

This is a BEAST of a lens. It is a very fast aperture lens for this (or any) focal length so there’s a lot of glass, which gives this lens a considerable heft. I can’t think of a better lens for shallow depth of field portraits than this one. *Note that this is a MANUAL focus lens.*

It comes with the correct ZEISS metal hood, a ZEISS UV filter, ZEISS front and rear caps, and instruction book, all in the original box.
