Up for sale is an original Kraken Black Spiced Rum tentacle store display, originally used in a liquor store roughly 10–15 years ago. This piece has been a centerpiece in my man caves and offices ever since, and it always gets attention. I’m downsizing and making space, so it’s time for this massive display to find a new home.

Overall height: approx. 6.5 feet from the base to the top of the bottle.

Construction & details:

• The tentacle attaches to the base with two bolts

• The bottle is removable and is an identical replica of a standard Kraken bottle

• Bottle stands approx. 24” tall on its own

• Base and tentacle are made of solid, dense foam (both hollow)

• Bottle is plastic with paper labels, empty, with black material inside to simulate rum

• Bottle is in great condition

Condition notes (please read):

This is a used store display and not perfect.

• The base has several cracks, including some on the front (see photos) and some hidden beneath the tentacle

• There is general wear on the tentacle, but nothing major (see photos for details)

• All wear and damage occurred during its time on display at the liquor store

• These issues have not worsened in over 10 years

• I have never attempted repairs, but the cracks would likely be easy to stabilize with glue if desired

The display could benefit from a gentle cleaning, particularly the bottle, but I have intentionally not done so to avoid damaging the paper labels. That project will be left to the next owner.

Note about measurements: because this is such an odd, large, oddly shaped item, all measurements (both in this description and in photos) are estimates. The measurements in this written description are more accurate than what I was able to capture in the photos. Please reference those numbers, as the photos had to be taken from off angles while holding the measuring tape.
