this eagle was carved with a chainsaw and powertools from a white pine log. it has been sealed with spar urethane and can be kept indoors or outdoors. if kept outdoors, I highly recommend keeping it out of the elements and keeping it in a cool shaded location like under a porch roof. do not place the carving in direct sunlight as the excessive heat and harsh uv lights are very hard on wood carvings. the dimensions are in the photos. be sure to look at all photos. the carving does have many cracks in it. I have made them visible in the photos. these are natural cracks in the wood. cracking is a common and natural occurrence in wood sculptures. as this carving ages some more cracking may occur. please understand this before purchasing!
