Mk4 golf gti 1.8 20v , Black 3 door - Garaged since 2018
I've owned this car since Jan'13 and dreamt of keeping it for fun when I had to buy a pickup for work in 2018. Though like all good dreams this never happened and it's been stored ever since.
I just replaced the oil, and with a top up of coolant, gallon of petrol and some jump leads she fired into life - as shown in the video.
A very original example that has never been welded and that appears extremely solid throughout. Obviously from being sat for a many years a few things have deteriorated and will need sorting prior to a MOT.
Bad Points
- Radiator has sprung a leak
- Battery completely flat
- Wiper motor seized
- Rear calipers binding (New discs and pads installed just prior to being stood - Mot advisory)
- Mildew inside
- Paint work is faded on bonnet, passenger door and rear qtr - T cut needed (Looked fine before it was stored)
- Been used for storage of boxes etc :), will empty prior to sale.
Good Points
- V5 present
- Some service history
- Low mileage
- Starts and runs well
- Interior in good condition with original parcel shelf - All needs a clean
- Drivers seat has no tears/holes - always had seat cover in my ownership
- Ipod nano stereo connection!
- Rot free - maybe some surface rust marks, but minor.
- Electric Sunroof
- Non ac model - one less thing to go wrong!
- Rare original VW roof bars.

Sold as seen, although I have tried to describe the car to the best of my knowledge it is the buyers responsibility to satisfy themselves on vehicle condition and no warranty is implied or given.
