Rare Early State of Israel Immigration Document: Medical Pas spo rt (C arnet Médical) – 1948-1950
This fascinatng historical document tracks the journey of a Jewish immigrant from Salonika (Thessaloniki), Greece, to the newly established State of Israel. Issued by the Ministry of Immigration (Officier d'Immigration) in Athens, this "Carnet Medical" served as an essential health clearance for Aliyah.
Subject: Raoul Almosnino, born in Salonika, 1912.
Date Range: 1948 (Vaccinations) to July 1950 (Final medical clearance in Athens).
Official Stamps: Features multiple bold blue stamps from the "State of Israel - Ministry of Immigration - Athens".
