Original 1937 Austrian Weapon Permit (Waffenpass) – Issued in Güssing

This is an authentic and rare "Waffenpass" (Weapon Permit) issued by the District Authority (Bezirkshauptmannschaft) of Güssing, Austria, on September 22, 1937. This document was issued less than six months before the german annexation of Austria (Anschluss) in March 1938.

Historical Significance: Austrian documents from the immediate pre-war period are highly collectible. The inclusion of the original photograph in uniform provides an excellent research opportunity for historians interested in Austrian paramilitary or state organizations during the "Austrofascism" era leading up to WWII.
