This car has been in storage a number of years and was originally purchased as a project because the lady always wanted a convertible Beetle, however as with most old cars, the reality of the work involved and the cost, whilst also having other priorities, the work never got started and she lost her storage, so the car is with me to sell on her behalf. 

Being 100% honest, it needs a floor pan before you even think of doing any kind of restoration and new or second hand ones are readily available. It’s missing its deck lid and some other bits but I’m advised the engine did run fine and there are a decent set of chrome wheels on the car. 

The number plate is nice and most likely worth more than the car KTK66G, especially if your name is Kate or even “Kit Kat” it’s estimated at around £2000. 

So, to sum up this is either a full restoration, parts car or shell swap, that’s up to the next owner but the owner is open to offers as the car needs to go. For purists , the car was originally yellow but changed to blue sometime during the hippy tripping out era .. lol 

The car does roll easily for loading
