This Fire & Light Originals Glow Bug Copper, or Orange, Recycled Art Glass Votive Candle Holder is a small, round, contemporary-style candle holder made of glossy copper colored, recycled hand blown glass. Hand wash only to protect the beauty of this votive. It is suitable for use with a votive candle or tea light. Made in the United States by Fire & Light Originals, this unique candle holder adds a touch of art glass style to your space with its recycled glass construction.
Fire & Light Originals has a noteworthy heritage, established in 1995 as a partnership of Arcata Community Recycling Center in Humboldt County, California, and local investors who desired to develop an innovative plan for using crushed, recycled glass. The founders decided to turn their recycled glass into a raw material, manufacturing distinctive products for sale in and out of the California area. The group created a distinctive line of colored glass dinnerware which would be created by melting crushed glass in furnaces, adding pigment, and pressing the molten glass into bowls, plates & glasses among other items. In December 1995 the first glass products were poured and pressed from the Fire & Light furnaces.
A glass making tool mark was noted on the side of this votive. This occurred during the manufacturing process. This is not damage & does not deter from the beauty of this glass. No chips, cracks, damage or repairs noted. Condition is appropriate to the age of the item.
