About Robert Stewart:
A full-time glass artist since 1979, Robert Stewart worked to become a master glass artisan
dedicated to preserving ancient glass-making techniques using original equipment handed
down from up to a century ago. His fine-art glass boxes were commissioned as gifts to U. S.
Presidents Reagan, H.W. Bush, and Clinton, along with world leaders Mikhail Gorbachev,
Lech Walesa, and others. His works are found in the permanent collections of important museums
including the Smithsonian Institution, the Museum of Israel, the Milwaukee Art Museum and more.
