Offering rare and in excellent condition vintage costume jewelry set including adjustable necklace and matching earring signed KRAMER on both pieces. The necklace is made on the rhodium metal base with lilac color thermoset- Lucite rose flowers shaded from the dark lilac to almost light pink- white color petals. The roses are 1 " in diameter in necklace and earrings. Every rose is accompanied by 2 leaves with crystals and one larger crystal a bud like. The chain is double to hold the rose design necklace stable and finished halfway up with single patterned rhodium metal chain enhanced with a tear drop shape setting for a larger size of crystal stone. The lock with hook is finished with large crystal - see picture. The set has been sold by Taylor Maid company and the matching this set beautiful box holds the name and the logo of the company from 1940-1950, The blue color of the box with silver finish, satin fabric and a mirror on the lid. I do believe that the set includes some time ago also a bracelet, but it is not in this box.
The overall aesthetic of the Kramer jewelry set in the labeled Tailor Maid box speaks of a bygone era of post -war glamour of the 1940's and early 1950's and guaranteed in the high quality of the products.
The box has some wear from the years of storage. The jewelry is in excellent -like a new condition.
