Native from South America, Escallonia is a reliable flowering shrub with flowers that bloom from June to October. Escallonia produce masses of small pink trumpet shaped flowers, sometimes with a honey fragrance. They are best grown in full sun, with some shelter from the wind. Easy to grow and will look great in flower beds, pots, rockeries and as hedging plants. Will attract birds, bees and other pollinating insects. Grows up to 2.5 meters high.
