I’m a longtime collector of all things physical media, Funko pops and other toys, Cards, Comics, Film Art, etc. I have 1000s & 1000s of old & new items.
I began selling around 2 years ago after being diagnosed with Lyme Disease and unable to perform my standard job requirements. Believe it or not, Doctors, holistic avenues were all exhausted and Employment alludes me as I have not been Cured.
Their reassurance that I’d return to normal never arrived.
As someone that loves all as well as an BEING an extrovert, a lot of isolation has consumed my day to day basis. This lil Disease can be terminated or in my case, get stuck with Post Treatment Lyme Syndrome. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! I’m not looking for pity or sympathy. Countless humans across the globe are unfortunately in worse situations. And I wish I could help.
I bring this up for 2 Reasons.
1. Lyme cases doubled from 200 something thousand to the upper 400,000s. There needs to be more awareness of just how devastating in can be. Be SAFE IN THE WOODS! And they’re migrating so don’t listen to “Ticks with Lyme do not visit your area”!!!
2. I’ve spent the 12 years prior to becoming sick to dedicating my life as the Director Of A Men’s Spiritual Retreat where we destroyed Alcoholism & Drug Addiction. I resigned to believing that this would be my life journey. But it isn’t the end all be all. I have dreams I wish to pursue. So I’m here selling it all, to climb out of debt and put money aside and hopefully create a place where we can laugh, love, cry, embrace one another in an environment surrounded by nostalgia & like minded people!
I LOVE YOU ALL and if you feel DOWN about LIFE, THAT THINGS WILL NEVER GET BETTER, or think that you’re just NO GOOD. Remember it could be worse and very few people are “BAD PEOPLE”, we just do stupid, selfish, regrettable things from time to time. BUT IF I WANT TO BE FORGIVEN, I MUST BE WILLING TO FORGIVE. IF I WANT KINDNESS THEN I MUST BRING IT. IF I WANT LOVE, I MUST DEMONSTRATE IT. AND RESPECT ISN’T SOMETHING JUST HANDED IT OUT. YOU MIST WORK HARD TO EARN IT.
I Know I Will Fail daily, but I will continue to try and not give up even when there are days where that voice says “it’s time to throw in the towel”!
