Rare nib alert! Long Tines, Wet Noodle, Early Edition nib (based on the font)

The pen was recently serviced. The last four photos were taken during the servicing process.

This pen is in good condition. There are no chips or cracks. The photos show the actual item, so please review them to judge the condition. It does show some normal wear signs, and some minor plating loss.

The nib is Wet Noodle flexible, soft, and scoring 10 on my nib grading scale below. It writes fine (0.6 mm) and can flex up to triple broad or more (2.0 mm). For durability, avoid flexing beyond 1.8 mm. This nib is best for those with experience using flexible nibs. Please note that flexing too fast and/or drier inks could cause railroading writing.

Please note that this nib has a little wave on the tines. It is hard to capture it with the camera.

My nib gradings: On the scale from 1 to 10 score, where 1 is firm and 10 is Wet Noodle.

Score 1: Firm - no flex at all

Score 2: Tines could spread a little, but not Semi Flex.

Score 3: Semi Flex - bends with some pressure, makes lines 1 or 2 sizes wider (for example, fine to medium or broad)

Score 4: Between Semi Flex and Flexible

Score 5: Flexible - needs some pressure to bend, makes lines 2 or 3 sizes wider (for example, fine to broad or double, triple broad)

Score 6: Between Flexible and Very Flexible

Score 7: Very Flexible - only needs a little pressure. Nib should feel soft and react quickly, making lines 3 or more sizes wider when flex.

Score 8: Between Very Flex and Super Flex

Score 9: Super Flex, very close to Wet Noodle.

Score 10: Wet Noodle - Flex with little pressure effort, very soft feel, very responsive, 3 or more line variation sizes different when flex.

Return will be accepted within 14 days (from the day the item is delivered to the buyer), with a full refund minus the shipping fee; the buyer is also responsible for shipping the item back and paying the return postage.

THE RETURN ITEM MUST BE IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT WAS WHEN IT WAS SENT TO THE BUYER. I mail pens in a PVC tube. PEN THAT IS DAMAGED OR MODIFIED BY THE BUYER WON'T BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN. PLEASE DO NOT BID OR BUY IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH OUR RETURN POLICY.
