This is a very rare internal xdk faceplate that was sampled and not produced. It may very well be the only one known of its kind. Normally the xdk faceplate says Xbox Development Kit in small lettering under the larger all caps XDK. However, this is one of the prototype variants to advertise development could be achieved in 4K Ultra when it was first rolling out.

I got this years ago from an internal employee close to development in the early stages of the Xbox One. Originally, Project Durango had its dev kits wrapped in zebra razzle dazzle wrap or some were black and had QR codes on the front. The official dev kits came out shortly thereafter with official graphics on the consoles even though at the time any retail could be activated as a dev kit. However, when they were tooling around with designs, this faceplate found its way out and into my hands eventually.

I’ve never tested it but all electronic components are present. Should work just fine but there are some light scratches on it from years of being boxed up.

Could be one of a kind. I’ve never found documentation of it anywhere. Never seen another like it.
