This unit has been fully tested using a known‑good MicroMV tape. All key functions operate exactly as they should:
• Tape loads, plays, rewinds and fast‑forwards smoothly
• Recording tested and working (see video)
• Touchscreen responsive
• Zoom, focus and menu functions all behaving correctly
• Clear image through both LCD and viewfinder
• No unusual noises from the tape mechanism
Runs perfectly from the included Sony power adapter. Battery no longer holds charge (normal for age), so mains use is recommended.
