Up for grabs here we have a vintage Akai 4000D reel to reel tape recorder. This is in good cosmetic condition and works but not perfectly. It plays, fast forwards and rewinds well but once in a while rewind doesn't engage. The track selector switch is present but missing the screw so not attached. I've listened to a tape through headphones and I could hear two tracks at once. Not sure if this is right or if the tape was recorded on another machine. It was a bit scratchy when in turned the track select or switch. I expect it needs a bit of a service to get the best out of it. The tape counter works and VU meters move. Long power lead with UK plug.
