This is an excellent edition of the classic Rega Planar P1 high fidelity turntable. Featuring the RB110 tonearm + carbon cartridge, it's an excellent step up or step into the world of vinyl audio. It's extremely easy to set up but nevertheless provides accurate dynamic sound with a good measure of bass. Its audio qualities have made it a consistent winner of What HiFi Awards over the years.
This deck has been rarely used since I upgraded to a Planar 3 five years ago. I tested it with various LPs before listing and it still plays like a dream. Cosmetically the plynth, platter and tonearm are clean and unmarked. However, there are a few scratches and cleaning marks on the cover which I have tried to show in the photos. This is unfortunately fairly usual with Rega players, but I have reflected that in the reduced price.
