Featuring the traditional tonewood complement of an alder body and a maple neck capped by a slab rosewood fingerboard, this American Ultra Strat weighs 7lbs 15oz. The Ultra Noiseless Vintage single coils feature a stacked coil design for (as the name would suggest) hum-free performance, with a notably lively and open-sounding tone, yielding quintessential Strat chime and sparkle with focused spank at the bridge and gutsy breadth at the neck. The push-button S-1 switch at the Volume knob enables the neck pickup to be engaged in any position for Bridge + Neck and everything-on sounds.
