This dramatic brooch dates back to WWIi and belonged to a patriotic relative who wore it proudly while all her brothers were overseas in the service.


It is a silver-toned metal, which I believe is pewter, because that was a metal popularly used for such items as this during the 1930s and 1940s.


It is made with a lot of details. See pix. It is approximately 2-3/4-imches I diameter.


No maker’s mark.


Pin mechanism in back works.


I am selling as is - I am going to let the new owner polish it up if they so desire. I do not want to buff away any of the patina.
