Offered is a lot of four Occupational Force Travel Permits for occupied Austria, which was overseen by the western allies and the Soviet Union until 1955. They measure approx 6"x 4". and were issued to a Edward Ryan, a State Dept. diplomat and his wife. They were for travel by rail to the US and the British zones of occupation in 1952. They were removed from a scrap book and the back sides have a little damage and litho loss to the corners, see photos. Ryan was a WWII hero and high-level CIA employee in the post-war era. If you Google: Edward Ryan, diplomat you can find some historical summaries and obituaries on his life.

Currently, I accept payments through Paypal. I ship to confirmed addresses associated
with the payment. BIN items require immediate payment. I allow three days for payments
after an auction ends. Unpaid item alerts are filed automatically after that period has passed,
barring a prior arrangement for later payment.
All items are shipped within one business day, barring emergency or events beyond my control.
Buyers will be notified if shipments are late. Shipping occurs six days a week, exception of holidays
and on occasion a Friday purchase may not ship until Monday morning. All items are shipped with
either USPS or Fed Ex tracking. Fed Ex will not ship to PO boxes, a physical address is required.
I only ship to the lower 48 states using Fed Ex Ground/Home delivery service. If that is noted in
the ad text above, I won't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, FPO/APO, or US Territories.
