World famous Mexican "Coconut" or "Choyas" geodes, direct from the mine in Chihuahua, Mexico!  These are THE geodes that contain the most color variation of any Mexican geode, ranging from clear to light blue, smoky, brown, and approximately 5% are a shade of purple amethyst!  These geodes also frequently contain other minerals than just the quartz with calcite and goethite being the most common.  We have provided sample pictures and a video of the more typical interiors in some geodes we opened - the sample geodes shown are not for sale or included with your purchase, but do provide a general idea of what these geodes will look like when opened up, but remember each geode is unique and different so the geode(s) you receive will not be exactly the same!  A hammer and chisel or flat ended-screwdriver, soil pipe cutter, or tile/wet or lapidary saws along with safety glasses and adult supervision (if children are involved) are popular methods used to open these geodes when purchased whole, and is a fun activity for the entire family!  Instructions on how to open the geode(s) and an information card about coconut geodes is included with every purchase.
