CHANEL Vintage 1980s Cream/Ivory 100% Cashmere Cardigan – Made in Scotland

A beautifully preserved vintage CHANEL cashmere cardigan from the 1980s in a true cream/ivory (it may read more ecru in some photos due to lighting). Round neckline, two front patch pockets, and gold-tone CHANEL logo buttons. Smooth, even knit and a very polished look on. The knit is substantial and luxurious—an enduring Chanel classic.

Condition is excellent vintage overall. No holes, no repairs, no pilling. Condition note (minor): there is very faint discoloration on the backs of the sleeves (shown clearly in photos; I added pink arrows to help locate it). The discoloration is subtle in wear and most visible when examining the sleeves

Eight buttons total (six down the front plus one on each pocket).

No size tag; measures as a Medium. Please compare the measurements below to a sweater you own.

Made in Scotland (UK). Labels/markings shown. This piece comes from a large private collection of CHANEL cashmere sweaters purchased in the 1980s by a Chanel New York marketing department employee (per original owner).
