Vintage, original (ca. 1898) British 30" x 20" theatre poster likely for a production of "Uncle Tom's Cabin", showing a little black girl (pejoratively referred to as a "picaninny") on her way to see the show. This incredibly rare poster is being offered in fair/good, freshly linen-backed condition with no problematic stains or long tears, but with some surface creases and professional restoration addressing paper loss in the margins and top-right and bottom-right corners.
