The product is a rare 20" Disston panel saw from December 27, 1887, with 13 teeth per inch. Known as "The Glockner," I've never seen anything like this with the name etched into the blade the same way most of the distant trademarks are etched into it I have not cleaned it or restored it and it's hard to make out the emblems but there is a distinctive distance and writing and the emblem with the scale also that they use on all of their demodel saws the d8s and d23s etc The medallion does date back to 1887 everything looks original on it it's pretty sharp for its age for sure I'm guessing the glockner could have been a shop that retailed these hand saws back in the day I'm not sure any information would be appreciated I did do some searching and that's what most of the sites were saying.

I've been collecting hand saws for over 30 years and I've never run into anything like this especially on a smaller panel saw 20 in this size any information any pros might know will be appreciated have a great day!
