How does the RX1R II deliver two functions that normally require more than one conventional camera? By controlling the splitting of incoming light through variable voltage applied to the liquid crystal layer between low-pass filter 1 and low-pass filter 2, the low-pass filter effect can be activated, deactivated, or modified. LPF bracketing simplifies comparison of LPF effects.
