For sale is a used Lenovo ThinkPad T440p, modified for use with free software and in good condition. This machine has only minor  defects - scuffs and scrapes, and some minor frame damage, see photos - and is fully functional. It has an upgraded 16GB RAM, a 4th gen i5 processor, and an upgraded 240GB SSD.

This laptop can run any version of Linux you prefer. Other OSes are probably possible, but we have not tried them and we can't support them. We have pre-installed the latest version of Trisquel Linux and the latest stable Libreboot and SeaBIOS; we have also swapped the built-in wifi adapter for a libre model so that you can enjoy full freedom in your everyday computing. All firmware is updated and all hardware that we were able to test is working.

A working charger is included and the battery is also in good working condition.

Note: Libreboot/SeaBIOS are third-party firmware; they change the way your machine operates quite fundamentally and are intended for advanced users with specific needs. We don't recommend this machine for users unfamiliar with these software stacks.
