For sale is a 3rd Rail/Sunset Models New York Central J-3A Hudson BRASS Steam Engine w/ TMCC

Please see detailed pictures! This engine is used and from a family members collection. It was ran and then in a display cabinet for over a decade. I gently cleaned the locomotive, along with servicing it.
- Removed the grease port cover on bottom, removed/scraped out old hardened grease, and applied fresh grease
- Oiled motor bearings, wheel linkages, and wheel bearings
- Oiled tender wheels
- Opened tender and installed 9v battery
- Originally the engine would power up but not move. I finally found that the plastic 2-pin connector for the motor wires was extremely loose and not making a clean connection.
- I verified the issue, then removed and soldered the wires together, along with shrink tube.
- The engine fully works in conventional and TMCC mode
- Primed & Tested the smoke unit, works great
- Tested a good 30+ minutes between conventional and TMCC mode, runs great
- One marker light on the tender is out
I spent quite a few nights servicing this engine and getting it running again. I have a large O-72 loop I tested this engine on and it ran great, despite some forums online saying these engines are O-72 minimum and picky on switches. (The tender wheel set is long, and read some members swapped the arrangement of the flanged wheels to help).

This engine is sold as-is, exactly as shown, and described. One marker light on the tender is not working. I do my best to accurately and honestly list the items we are selling. I spent a lot of time to make sure this engine was working correctly again.
