Delivery available,  see below. Vintage 1940s Utility Furniture Oak 2 Drawer Bureau, Scissor Action Support Arms. Utility Furniture  was introduced in 1942 to conserve materials in short supply during the war years and ran to 1952. This is a good example of this period being in fine condition for its age (circa 75 years old). There are a few marks to the drawer fronts, and the leather inlay has some wear, see photos, but all is commensurate with the age of the bureau. The scissor action support arms are fully working and automatically extend when opening the writing surface to provide the necessary support. There is a key but it is not believed to be the correct key for the lock, so is not sold as locking.

Rest of London for £40 plus congestion charge where applicable. For any other areas please message me for quote. Up to 200 road miles from ME15 6GZ will be delivered by myself and outside the above areas will be at approximately 45p per road mile one way, minimum £30, maximum £90. Delivery charge payable on delivery either by cash or PayPal.

Delivery to areas over 200 road miles from ME15 6GZ (mainland only) will be by specialist carrier at £98 including protection, insurance and delivery. Payment for carrier services to be made by PayPal in advance of booking the carrier.

All deliveries are kerb side drop off only.
