Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe Natural 2004 Hollow Body Electric Guitar
This guitar is a commission sale. If you have a high-end or vintage guitar you are interested in selling please contact us.
Here for sale we have an Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Natural finish. This guitar is based on the 1949 Gibson ES-5. Made in Korea in 2004, this guitar consists of a Flame Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold hardware, a Tune-O-Matic adjustable bridge and a Frequensator tailpiece, Gold sealed die-cast tuners, and a trio of Dog Ear P90 pickups. These pickups are wired to three volume controls and a master tone.
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, offering a smooth and comfortable playing surface that promotes ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The 12" radius provides a comfortable playing surface, perfect for complex chords and single-note lines whilst feeling comfortable under the fingers. The single cutaway body design allows for unobstructed access to the higher register, completing a comfortable guitar that offers excellent playability for jazz and other clean styles of music.
The trio of Epiphone Dog Ear P90s deliver crisp and clear tones, well suited to a wide range of styles and genres. The neck is warm and round, with ample power for pushing those melodic lines and solos to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and is well suited to crunchy rhythm parts and riffs. The middle pickup has had its polarity reversed to offer more interesting tones when used with the other pickups, allowing for quackier, punchier sounds and hum cancelling ability. The hollow Maple body construction of the instruments adds an open and airy tone, with a nicely resonant and responsive feel in the arms which makes for a lively playing experience.
