Pocket holder for Soviet coins. USSR coin case "Vyborg". The coin case is functional, but has some wear and scratches. The chrome plating is slightly chipped in some places. The plastic has discolored. It shows signs of age. The back is made of plastic and bears the inscription "Vyborg" (a city in Russia) and some kind of coat of arms or symbol. The coin case was designed for Soviet coins of 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, and 20 kopecks. The coin holder is divided into seven spring-loaded compartments, each holding 6-7 coins of each denomination. This way, all the coins were kept in one place and not scattered across various pockets. I don't know how convenient this is, since the user had to sort the change into the compartments each time after making change, but I think it's a matter of habit. Nowadays, the coin box can also be used in other countries, as some compartments accommodate coins from different countries. However, this is not entirely convenient, as many of the coins are thicker than those used in the Soviet Union. In any case, this is a vintage item and is a collectible. The coins shown in the photo and video are included as a gift. One coin of each denomination is included. Dimensions are shown in the photo.
