Two young men forge a connection that goes beyond the feelings they thought possible. Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger) and Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) meet while herding sheep in Wyoming in 1963, beginning a decades-long relationship they struggle to reconcile with their marriages and the expectations of rural American life. Their feelings for each other have repercussions throughout their lives in various ways.

Director Ang Lee crafts a sensitive, heartbreaking love story filled with moving performances. Ledger and Gyllenhaal deliver career-best work, while Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway provide strong support. The film won three Academy Awards including Best Director and became a cultural landmark.

Universal released this drama on Blu-ray.
