This happy dog a translucent apple juice swirl Bakelite face, apple juice ears and feet, a tequila sunrise Bakelite body and a butterscotch tail. He is mounted on a black Bakelite oval piece. The eyes are vintage google eyes and his mouth and nose are hand painted. The parts are new old stock Bakelite jewelry components which were in storage for decades, except for the tail which was part of a belt buckle. The brooch is approximately 2.75 inches tall by 2 inches wide. It closes with a rollover c-clasp. I created this piece for my Uniqlets line of one of a kind jewelry made with upcycle vintage parts.
