I did work on one of the large spoons (pictured) and was surprised at how well it cleaned up.

I would hesitate to say that all of it would clean up, but nonetheless, it is good for melting down.

The flatware was stored in a garage for the past 50 years or more.  

There are 18 knives, 17 forks, 10 large serving spoons, 6 tablespoons, 2 butter knives and 1 sugar spoon.  

Total weight of the 54 pieces is 6 lbs 6 ozs.
