This antique Walker and Hall Sheffield four piece serving set is in good condition. There are

faint scratches and marks particularly on the tray consistent with age and use. Originally

sold as an asparagus serving set, I believe it could be adapted to modern times as a small

roast serving set since it has both the tongs and sauce boat. The set can be dated to 1920

via the lower case Latin letter 'b' on three of the four pieces, as well as the number 20

stamped on the tray and sauce boat. A lovely matching set from one of the best Sheffield

silversmiths, Walker and Hall.
