Horse doesn't look to have ever been removed from box's cardboard backing and displayed.  HOWEVER, there are a few flaws with the packaging:   The protective sleeves that protect rider's arms have separated, allowing wine glass to fall to bottom of box. The rubber bands that held some of the tack in place have disintegrated with age.   I did slide the cardboard insert out of box to examine closely and to take photos.  The horse looks excellent, as does the tack and rider.  But I'm not willing to ship with contents jostling about to possibly cause rubs, so when he arrives, expect to see everything inside padded with bubble wrap and air pillows to prevent shifting.   Wine class will be in small envelope tucked inside bubble wrap.     Everything can display exactly as intended inside clear box window once you remove all these protective materials.
