This is an original 1945 7th printing hardcover copy of "Prayers for Children," a classic Little Golden Book with several Christian prayers from different authors and sources, accompanied by lovely illustrations by Rachel Taft Dixon.

Overall, the copy being offered is in fair vintage condition and obviously saw frequent use by a young child. In my first three photos, you can see that the covers have heavy wear, including surface and edge chipping, discoloration, and stains. The top of the spine has a 3/8" chip. Inside, there is a child's name written with a pencil on the "This book belongs to..." line inside the front cover, but there is no other writing or marking in the book. The pages have darkened with age but remain clean, crisp, and strongly bound.
