Actual Sample Of Showbiz Pizza Place Carpet

This carpet was given to me by the execs of Showbiz Pizza Place back when money was flowing like water and I was considered the "boy genius" who would someday dethrone Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Marvin Abacrombie.

 Alas, here we are, 45 years later and Marvin is the only one I have done better than.  However, none of them were gifted a piece of Showbiz carpet like I was.  I cherished and protected this valuable gift knowing that, if I didn't end up making enough money to sit back and smoke cigars when I was 72 years old, I could cut this carpet up into pieces and sell them to survive.  And here we are. 

So, I will cut a piece of this off for you, about 9" x 12". 

There won't be any more of this carpet made...ever!  It's time has passed.  All we can do is grasp pieces of the past, hold onto it, and ask ourselves how we will do better in our next life.

And, whereas they say you can't take it with you, I have put in my will to have one of these gorgeous chunks of history tossed in my casket on my way out of here.
