I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1930s - 40s Socony - Vacuum Mobiloil Gargoyle 30" double sided Porcelain / Metal and Enamel Advertising Sign. The sign weighs apprx 12.5 lbs as shown.  This is a 2 sided sign , the pics show the better side in the first group of pics and the back in the later pics. When I purchased the sign , the lesser side was painted over with red paint. I did a quick strip of the paint but there are some remnants as you can see from the pics.  

I am supposing that this was originally a lollipop sign but I only have the sign, no ring nor stand

I have 24 pics for you to assess the condition for yourselves. Its imperfect as shown , there is plenty of character but its still a great display piece. This is an old 1930s - 40s original !

Due to the odd size I may have to special order a box . I will use 1-1/2" sheets of polystyrene which cost me approx $20 a sheet - none of my packaging materials are free - matter of fact they are expensive. It is my responsibility to do what I can to ensure safe delivery of my products .

SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , YOU WOULD NEED PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND PICS OF THE DAMAGED ITEM. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL. I hold the right to ship in an alternative method of shipping if I deem it more safe because of the items fragility , issues due to size, etc.
