Incorporation of polyamides in the pliers add strength and resistance to wear. The polyamide pliers are further strengthened with metal core structure. Whilst the use of polyamides and metal alloys are more expensive that traditional plastic pliers, the advantages outweigh the costs by far.
The design of the pliers keeps the clip perfectly vertical whilst the wedge is being inserted. This means the wedge can be fixed more firmly without moving the breaking point of the clip.
