Omega 2639-8, 36mm sub second, Cal. 265, Stainless Steel, 1951

The movement is Omega's caliber 265 which is manual wind, 15J and appears very clean. The ref. 2639 came out in 1949,

the serial number is 12.9 mil which puts the watch at a 1951 build date or so. 

This Swiss made watch is mechanical and hand wound, runs and keeps good time, see the video.

The dial is original and has a nice vintage patina

The watch has a screw-in case back, this allowed it to be water resistant to 30m according to the manufacturer, this has not been tested.  

The Acrylic crystal is in very nice shape as is the movement. The crown is original and signed. The 18mm lugs are drilled, making strap changing easy. It comes on a new black leather XL strap.
