TFT display.
Start Basic and Start Next are the
only chronometers in the world that
use a GPS receiver with a sampling
rate of 50Hz guaranteeing accuracy of
lap times to one hundredth of a second
and precision visualization of GPS
trajectories which no other
chronometer commercially available on
the market today is capable of
offering. The new Start devices use a
touch screen display with “Glove
Sensitive” technology, allowing the
rider to use the device even while
wearing gloves, whilst the icon menu
make navigation easy and intuitive.
Thanks to automatic detection and a
global database, the circuit will be
automatically detected by the
chronometer without the need to press
any key. Start Basic is the
entry-level version, without data
acquisition; lap times are visualised
directly on the display. Start Next
memorizes GPS trajectories, speed, the
direction, acceleration and lean angle
thereby allowing riders to study and
analyze their performance on the PC.
It is possible to connect both models
to the Box Expander modules.

Touch
Screen: say goodbye to
uncomfortable buttons, Start is
equipped with a touch screen with
“Gloves Sensitive” technology that
allows use even with gloves. The touch
screen makes using Start simple and
intuitive thanks to the icon menu.
3 split
times: is able to manage and
record up to three split times.
Split time
improvement led: thanks to
the pre-set intermediates, a led will
warn you if you are improving your lap
time, both at finish line and
intermediates
Ideal time:
setting the split times you can check
your ideal time calculated by adding
all the best split times.
Predictive
time: from the third lap you
can see the predicted time instead of
usual rolling time.
Led bar and
alarm: fully configurable
LED bar and alarm make Start a
complete stopwatch for any use.
Chrono
mode led bar: the
new 5 multicolor led bar creates
the opportunity for new functions,
by setting the led bar to chrono
mode the leds will transform into
a simplified stopwatch visible at
a glance, so that the driver can
stay focused on driving without
having to be distracted by reading
the display. From the third lap
the led bar will be used to
display the gap between the
current time (expected time at the
finish line) and the best lap of
the session. Each led lit
corresponds to a tenth of a second
of gap, if the leds are green the
expected time will be lower than
the best time of the session, if
they are red it will be worse. For
example, if two green leds are lit
while driving it means that the
expected time at the finish line
will be 0.2 seconds lower than the
best time of the session
Display
of different values: thanks
to the rear military connector it
is possible to expand the storage
and display capacity of Start
Next. By connecting one of the
available expander boxes,
different predefined screens are
activated where you can display
engine speed, temperature,
thermocouple temperature (example
exhaust gas) and engaged gear

Lean
angle: thanks to a
sophisticated algorithm you can view
your lean angle for any turn without
install any extra sensor or accessory
on the bike.
Data
acquistion: Start Next allow
the attainment of trajectories and
speed count through gps. Using
optional expansion module it is also
possible to abtain up to 9 analogical
and 3 digital channels.
Data
analysis software: RacePro is
the latest state-of-the-art analytical
software designed for Start Next, you
can analyse the path and the
performance for every single curve and
also analyse all the analogical and
digital channels connected to the lap
timer.
Internal
battery: Start comes with an
internal recharghable lithium battery.
Internal batteriy make the appliance
particularly suitable when used on all
those vehicles not provided with on
board batteries, for example
Supermotard, Scooter, etc.
APPs mobile:
download the new apps available for
all Android and iOS devices. Thanks to
the application you will not need to
bring your laptop to the track to
perform a more in-depth analysis of
the stored values.
