This nautical clock is a really unique find. Usually these clocks have wooden bases, but this was an all brass design. I scoured the internet but failed to find anything resembling this. When I got the clock, the brass was heavily tarnished, and I really didn't know what my restoration guy could do with it. When he brought it back to me, I found it hard to believe it was the same clock. The results speak for themselves. There was a nick on the upper left side (see last HD picture, circled in red). In addition, there is a small dent on the very top center of the clock; possibly something was dropped on it at one point. Despite trying multiple camera angles and lighting, I absolutely could not get the dent to show in the pictures.

The clock is just under 8 and a half inches wide, and 9" tall.

Unfortunately the movement does not work. While I do repair clock movements, I have never worked on one of these, and have no spare parts for them, so I didn't want to risk damaging the movement further. Both mainsprings are NOT broken.

You are buying the clock + key seen in the pictures. It will be very carefully packaged and shipped promptly.
