In 1889, four brothers William Russel, Jean, John, & Andrew Case founded W.R. Case & Son Cutlery Company ( Case XX ) in Bradford, Pennsylvania.
This knife has the blade forged from the fine carbon steel designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction. The blade is thin ( not flexible ), sharp, and very easy to sharpen. The handle is secured with rivets over the full tang to sure fitting to make it both easy and comfortable to use.
