In 1731, Peter Henckels founded Zwilling ( J.A. Henckels’s predecessor ) in Solingen, Germany. 

This knife has the blade fully forged ( blade, bolster, and tang are precision forged from one solid piece of steel  ) from the German high quality no-stain carbon steel with German specifications and the highest standards of quality.  The handle is triple riveted over the full tang to good fitting for durability, strength, and balance.

Maintenance Suggestion:  Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid.  After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.  Use of electric knife sharpener or dishwasher not recommended.
